Children's Ministries Director
I have always known who Jesus is, and as a child I did believe that he was God, but it was head knowledge and not a faith that changed who I was. A few years after high school, however, things started changing as the Holy Spirit started to pursue me and show me my need to change and live my life for Christ. I was a white-washed tomb, but His mercy didn’t let me go and his grace filled me. His cleaning and transforming are still continuing as it will until the day I die, but with those days I intend to seek his will and look to him every day. My family is actively involved at FCC, and we all love being a part of the greater family that makes up the body of believers that is the Church. One thing that drew me to my wife was her desire to be part of the church in a lot of different ways and to serve generously. It’s something that we love to do together. We like to make dang good food, which means we like to eat. We also like to hike every once in a while, and go on whatever adventures we feel like. I have loved serving the church for most of my life, and I believe God has blessed that by allowing me to become the Children’s Ministry Director here at Faith. I now get to serve Christ and his Body as a full time job and I love it! I think Luke puts my vision for Faith Community Church in a pretty good nutshell: “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” -Acts 2:42-47 Favorite Book: Mere Christianity – C.S. Lewis.
